Parma Municipal Court serves Parma, Parma Heights, Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, Linndale, North Royalton, Broadview Heights and Seven Hills. The court also identifies Metroparks and Ohio Turnpike matters within its boundaries, along with other state and county agency filings.
The court is a court of record with jurisdiction over traffic and non-traffic misdemeanors and preliminary proceedings in felony cases. A case may be charged under the ordinance of the filing city or under Ohio law. I identify the exact citation or complaint, prosecutor, agency and court stage before advising a client.
I personally review police reports, body-camera and cruiser video, 911 calls, field sobriety and chemical-test evidence, messages, photographs, witnesses and the complete record. I explain the arraignment, bond, evidence, pretrial, motion and trial process and prepare the case according to the facts and law.

OVI and DUI defense
I handle first and repeat OVI, high-test, refusal and drug OVI allegations, administrative license suspensions and driving-privilege issues. I review the stop, field sobriety exercises, video, testing and prior record.
Speeding and traffic defense
I defend speeding, reckless operation, marked lanes, assured clear distance, failure to control, distracted driving, suspension and other moving or license charges. Points and practical consequences should be reviewed before paying a waiver.
